Methodology – Tennis Training Philosophy
Using a “Farm” system, junior tennis players must compete daily to earn their spot in the program. In our daily morning training sessions skills are developed, acquired and mastered. In our daily afternoon sessions, matches and competitive situational play are implemented along with experienced coaching observation geared toward helping athletes better understand the choices they make during their performances.
Based on their winning performances, players move up and down the ranks within the youth tennis academy structure on a daily basis. As they move through each level of play they learn how to manage their efforts, emotions and understanding of competitive situations gaining valuable experience for future tennis competitions.
Take a look at some of the skills they will learn while at CMA Academy:

High Performance Tennis Training Sessions
In addition to top tennis academy training, players must engage in a daily Fitness and Conditioning regimen that includes a variety of training modalities such as, aerobic and anaerobic development through sustained low intensity activities and short duration sprinting and change of direction exercises; not to mention overall strength training and nutritional awareness coaching.
Let’s not forget the brain however. With our Mental Performance program designed to help athletes maintain their focus and performance output, athletes can experience improved results in a relatively short period of time.

- The student enrolls in the program
- Our College Placement Coordinator will then send the student a Personal Information Questionnaire that starts the process of evaluating the player
- Information from that Questionnaire is reviewed and an Action Plan is developed
- Then the Coordinator sets a time schedule for routinely scheduled meetings
- The student, in consultation with the College Placement Coordinator, is given assignments and deadlines by which to complete the assignments
- A list of suitable Colleges is formed
- College Placement Coordinator contacts selected schools and arranges visits and interviews
- School list is condensed
- Final selection is made
- Applications are submitted
- Acceptances are announced
- The principals have been sending players to top Colleges for over 30 years
- Our athletes have earned millions of dollars in athletic scholarship
