Don Law
Don Law an award-winning junior golf instructor, is founder and director of one of the largest training programs in the U.S. Law, a Top 50 Instructor according to Golf Range Magazine and U.S. Kids Golf, has been recognized for both his teaching and contributions to junior golf. An award-winning Junior Golf Instructor, Law opened the first Don Law Golf Academy in 1999. Over the last 10 years, the Don Law Golf Academy has grown from one to six locations, offering one of the largest year-round training programs in the country. The academies have more than 1,200 juniors actively training. Last year the Don Law Golf Academy conducted more than 1,700 junior classes, 1,000 adult clinics and 60 golf camps. Through the years, Law has been recognized for both his teaching and his contributions to junior golf, including recently being named 2010 South Florida PGA Junior Golf Leader. US Kids Golf has honored Law with the Top 50 Junior Instructor Award four years in a row. Law is one of only 31 instructors in the world to make US Kids Golf’s Top 50 Master Instructor list, and Golf Range Magazine has named him a Top 50 Golf Instructor the last four years. The PGA of America has honored Law with many awards, including Golf Professional of the Year, Junior Leader, President’s Plaque, Bill Strausbaugh and the Distinguished Service Award. He also has been a finalist for the prestigious PGA National Junior Golf Leadership Award. As the South Florida PGA Section Junior Chairman since 2002, Law has made a huge impact on growing the game of golf in South Florida. In addition to the golf academies, Law oversees four US Kids Junior Tours and has been instrumental in the growth and development of the South Florida PGA Junior Tour. He is also president and co-founder of ParKit Golf. In 2010 Law’s educational training kit was voted one of three “Best New Products” at the 2010 PGA Merchandise Show. More than 200 golf professionals have bought the training kits and are implementing them in their junior programs.
